The “Buddy” program is co-sponsored by the Junior Auxiliary of Hattiesburg several times a year. We usually have activities on Mondays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. throughout the school year. Check the dates and times in our monthly newsletter.  We have students from our local schools who come to be a “buddy” to a special needs child.

Rise and Shine

The program Rise and Shine is providing adults with disabilities an opportunity to be successful in a medium in which they are typically excluded from, community recreation activities.  In addition, it will carry these adults with disabilities across numerous forms of recreation, allowing them to expand beyond traditional choices, yet shaped by individual preferences.
